Facebook in China?!

In the past weeks, China organized a conference on internet at Wuzhen , a quiet town located approximately half of Shanghai and Hangzhou , the seat of e-commerce.

Wuzhen is sometimes called the “Venice of the East” for its network of channels, but during the conference the city takes another distinction : it is the only place in China where users can freely access Facebook , Twitter and Instagram .In the past weeks, China organized a conference on internet at Wuzhen , a quiet town located approximately half of Shanghai and Hangzhou , the seat of e-commerce giant Alibaba .

Internet is very controlled in China. Most Western social networking platforms are prohibited, and Beijing has invested heavily in a firewall that restricts access to thousands of websites considered controversial. But according to reports , Chinese officials drilled the ” Great Firewall ” to the World Conference on Internet , enabling over 1,000 attendees internet access parts that are out of reach 1,300 million Chinese .

The award highlights the dilemma technology companies that are not from China while trying to reconcile the enormous potential of the country with his tough approach to censorship and market access hand face .

Putin leave Ukraine alone !

The United States and European countries have imposed economic sanctions on Russia over its involvement in Ukraine.

Putin criticized those measures in comments Thursday to the Russian news agency TASS, saying they undermine “the whole system of international economic relations.”

“They run counter to the very principle of G20 activities, and not only the activities of the G20 and its principles, they run counter to international law, because sanctions may be introduced only through the United Nations and its Security Council,” Putin said.

The G20’s job is actually to focus on financial and economic matters. Ukraine is not officially on the agenda, but it has loomed large over the gathering, overshadowing Australia’s plans for the meetings.

Abbott tried to get the tough talk with Putin out of the way earlier in the week at APEC, in an attempt to keep the G20 focused on economic growth, said Michael Kofman, a public policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Australia “did not want the summit ruined by the Russia issue,” Kofman told CNN. “But quite the opposite happened.”

Please, No more labels!

They said if you’re gay, it´s a sin. If you´re fat, you look nasty. If you have male friends. you´re a wh**e . If you have famale friends, you´re a player. We live in a society where the labels are everywhere! The past month, the actress Raven  Symone was invited to the Oprah Winfrey program. “I don’t want to be labeled gay,” Raven-Symone said. “I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.” She argued “know where my roots go to; I don’t know how far back they go. ” I agree with her becuase we must be proud of our heritage but that doesn´t have to define us. We  must stop labeling by being polite, tolerant and respectful with others. We are human beings; it doesn´t matter if you´re rich or poor, fat or skinny , straight or gay, etc. I am proud of just being me, and you?

We must be prepared, here are some facts about Ebola!

Scientists believe that bats are the natural reservoir for the virus, and that apes and humans catch it from eating food that bats have drooled or defecated on, or by coming in contact with surfaces covered in infected bat droppings and then touching their eyes or mouths.

Symptoms of Ebola typically include:weakness, fever, aches, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach pain. Additional experiences include rash, red eyes, chest pain, throat soreness, difficulty breathing or swallowing and bleeding (including internal).

Typically, symptoms appear 8-10 days after exposure to the virus, but the incubation period can span two to 21 days.

According to the World Health Organization, “there is no specific treatment or vaccine,” and the fatality rate can be up to 90%. Patients are given supportive care, which includes providing fluids and electrolytes and food.
